Smell is one of our strongest links to memory and often a large factor in a first impression. Don't let bad breath, body odor, etc. deter a future employer or a current one.
There is also the other factor of smelling too strongly of a perfume/body spray. Some people have allergies or are just extra sensitive to scents and not all people like the same smells. Neutral is your best bet and eliminates scent as a potential factor. No matter the job, you should be showing up in clean clothes, neutral body odor and looking your most professional per the dress code. Putting this effort in adds to job security, likelihood of promotion and feeling good overall.
